PROJECT RESEARCH TOPIC ON THE INCIDENCE OF PREECLAMPSIA IN GENERAL HOSPITAL, OGHARA, DELTA STATE: A ONE YEAR REVIEW
ABSTRACT
Background
Pre-eclampsia is one of the leading cause of maternal mortality especially in developing countries of the world like Nigeria. Pre-eclampsia ranks second of the five major causes of maternal mortality. Its incidence is associated with sociodemographic like age, family history, parity and so on. The occurrence of pre-eclampsia also affects, maternal outcome. Thus the aim of this study is to assess the incidence of pre-eclampsia among women who attended antenatal care at general hospital, Oghara.
